Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 10, 2025
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Miss Me (“Miss Me,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit or make a purchase from www.missme.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective when we post the revised Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
We collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, payment information (e.g., credit/debit card details processed by our payment providers), account credentials, and any information you include in messages to us (e.g., customer service inquiries).
Text marketing & notifications. By subscribing to our text notifications, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing messages at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help. Message & data rates may apply.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Site, we automatically collect certain information that may not directly identify you (“non-PII”), such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, and the date/time of your visits. We and our service providers use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and similar technologies to collect this information, facilitate the Site’s operation, improve performance, analyze usage, detect and prevent fraud, and personalize content.
You can set your browser to refuse or alert you when cookies are used. If you disable cookies, some Site features may not function properly. To learn more about cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
2. How We Use Information
- Orders & services: To process and fulfill purchases, returns, and exchanges; provide customer support; and manage your account.
- Communication: To send transactional messages (e.g., order updates) and, if you subscribe, marketing communications about products, offers, and events.
- Improvement & analytics: To analyze usage, improve the Site and our products, and develop new features and offerings.
- Security & fraud prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity and to protect our customers, our business, and the Site.
- Legal compliance: To comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights.
We may use non-PII for any lawful purpose. If we combine non-PII with PII so that it identifies a person, we treat the combined information as PII.
3. How We Share Information
- Service providers & operational partners: We share PII with unaffiliated third parties who provide services such as payment processing, shipping and fulfillment, customer support, analytics, hosting, marketing support, and security.
- Business transfers: We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
- Legal & safety: We may disclose information to comply with applicable law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; enforce our terms; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Miss Me, our customers, or others.
We do not sell your personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide required notices/choices.
4. Your Choices
A. Marketing Communications
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by adjusting your account settings. For text marketing, reply STOP to unsubscribe (HELP for help). We will process opt-out requests as soon as reasonably practicable.
B. Access, Correction, Deletion
You may review, update, correct, or request deletion of PII by visiting your account settings or contacting us (see Contact Us). For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We are not responsible for updating information held by third parties with whom we have already shared your PII.
5. Region-Specific Rights
A. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have rights to: (i) know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and the purposes; (ii) request deletion of personal information (subject to exceptions); (iii) correct inaccurate information; and (iv) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us as described in Contact Us and include “California Privacy Rights” in your request. If applicable, you may also use our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
B. European Union / EEA Residents (GDPR)
EEA residents may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. International Transfers & Data Retention
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ from your home country. We will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards.
We retain PII for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
7. Security
We implement reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect PII from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential and do not send sensitive information via email.
8. Cookies & Third-Party Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 1(B). We also allow limited third-party analytics and advertising tools (e.g., analytics services and ad networks) to collect information about your use of the Site to understand preferences and deliver relevant content. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect PII from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
10. Financial Incentives
We may offer discounts or special offers when you provide contact information (e.g., name, email). By signing up, you opt in to the financial incentive. You may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. Although we generally do not assign monetary value to personal information, California law may require us to state that, in this context, the value of your personal information relates to the estimated cost/value of the incentive offered.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. We encourage you to review the Policy regularly.
